How do I write a reservation to the delivery person in the event of damage?

Important information to know about delivery with signature:

In the case of a delivery with signature, or other than a letterbox delivery, it is imperative that you check the merchandise (the contents) before signing the delivery note.

If the deliveryman does not wish to wait, you can refuse the goods or ask for them to be delivered by another deliveryman. You must also inform us, and we will take the necessary measures.

If the goods are damaged :

Solution 1: The product is unusable. You can refuse the goods and enter an acceptable reservation on the delivery note as explained below. You must notify us within 24 hours of this refusal.

Solution 2: You accept the goods and enter a reservation so that we can find a solution together (replacement of the item, repair, compensation, etc.).

How to formulate a reservation acceptable to delivery companies :

It is important to include the number of damaged items, the reference number or name of the damaged product, and a precise description of the damage.

For example, in the case of a damaged rim:

"1 rim out of 4, with the name Turbine GreenDrive 20'' is scratched on the front of the rim."

Here are other examples of ACCEPTABLE and NOT ACCEPTABLE reserves:
