# Customs refund

Customs duties** 🛃 may be payable if you have your order delivered to a country outside the European Union (Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway).  

Calculation methods may vary and are based on our **excluding VAT** invoice for your order. (VAT is not paid when the order is placed 💳).

We therefore have no control over the amount of your customs charges and will not be able to refund them ❌.

If you feel that the amount is unjustified, we invite you to send a duly reasoned request to the competent district directorate (the one mentioned on the customs or VAT tax ruling), scrupulously respecting the **60 days** deadline 🗓️ which runs from the time the tax ruling is issued.
